Laura founded Kam Global Strategies, an international PR company in 2012 after pioneering The Israel Project’s work for seven years in China, India, Russia, and Europe as Executive Director for Global Affairs. Kam’s work with the world’s leading pollsters in China, India, Russia, Britain, France and Germany and US research of elites, voters and college students has enabled successful strategic communications efforts worldwide. Kam Global Strategies is Israel's fastest growing international strategic communications firm servicing organizational, policy and business leaders internationally who want their messages published in the world’s top tier media and do business in Israel, and for international leaders and Israeli companies who want to see strategic communications results globally.
The company specializes in promoting start-ups in the medical cannabis field in Israel and abroad. Kam Global Strategies works with Israel’s leading cannabis business leaders including the iconic CannaTech conference in cities worldwide and iCAN Israel-Cannabis. Its clients have ranged from SYQE Medical, Breath of Life Pharma, and CMTREX, to name a few. Kam has developed know-how on how to reach opinion makers electronically and through social media to over tens of thousands of journalists.
Prior to joining TIP, Kam worked for the Anti-Defamation League in New York, Washington, DC and Jerusalem for 17 years, including as co-director of the ADL’s Israel office. There, she was responsible for all areas of media relations for the League as well as for organizing and implementing missions that brought key U.S. Senators, members of Congress, Governors, law
enforcement officials, interfaith leaders, journalists and others to Israel, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority.
Kam previously worked as a press officer at the Israeli Consulate in New York City. Kam has a Master’s Degree in Social Work (Community Organization) and has completed doctoral coursework at the City University of New York. She is married to Ambassador Jeremy Issacharoff and they have 3 children. They took up residence in Berlin in September 2017.
